SESSION RESERVATION FEE/DEPOSIT:

A non-refundable reservation fee is required for all bookings ($150). This secures your session and for the photographer not to make any other reservations or accept any other clients for that time.  This amount is deducted from the session that you choose. 

PAYMENT:

Balance/final payment is due before session when confirming final session date and time. 

CANCELLATION BY CLIENT:
In the event that the client cancels the contract for any reason, all monies paid shall be retained by the photographer in order to offset its loss of business.

CANCELLATION BY PHOTOGRAPHER:
The photographer reserves the right to cancel the session according to their own discretion in the following cases
1. Baby is visibly too unwell or unsettle to continue the session - full refund will be given or alternative dates will be offered
2. If client becomes unreasonable or abusive towards photographer - client contract will be canceled with no refund. This terminates the relationship permanently.
3. In the case where siblings are unruly, act out or disrespectful towards the photographer during the session, the photographer feel that they are not being properly supervised and/or there is a possibility that they could get injured in the studio - session will be canceled or postponed with conditions.

POSTPONE/RESCHEDULE:
You are allowed one free re-schedule of your session due to sickness, bereavement or weather after booking date is confirmed as long as sufficient notice is given to photographer. (preferably 24 hours). Additional re-scheduling fee of $70 will be charged for subsequent rescheduling. Reservation fee will not be refunded but can be used for future sessions within 3 months. 

TIMING:
In the event that a client doesn't show up for their session it will result in automatic cancellation of the session and the photographer will be under no obligation to offer an alternative date/time session or any products, images or any form of recompense in lieu of the missed session. If you are running late, please advise us asap, as late arrival uses up the studio time set aside for you, which limits your session & may result in automatic cancellation (after 30 minutes) if it is not possible to complete the session. If this is the case, a re-booking fee would be required if you would like to reschedule your session. 

DELIVERY:
Your proof gallery will be delivery to you within 5 days after your session and your final hand edited high  resolution gallery will be delivery to you 7-10 days after you've picked your favourite images you would like to keep. Final images will be provided in JPEG format to the highest possible quality capacity. 

LIABILITY:
The photographer/Rene Goodwin Photography is not responsible for any illness, injuries or damage/ loss of property to any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children, themselves and anyone they bring with them to the session (and their belongings), and release the photographer/Rene goodwin Photography from any claims against their person, health, property or their business (or any other claim). 

COPYRIGHT:
The copyright in all photographic works resulting from the booking remains the property of the photographer. It is illegal to attempt to download, screenshot or attempt to remove a watermark from any images taken and posted online. A copyright infringement of $500 will apply in failure to do so. The client may not alter or add to or manipulate an image by means of computer or any other technique or reproduce an image in whole.
The client's right to use the photographic works under the licence does not include the right to remove, alter or otherwise affect any rights information accompanying or relating to the photographic works, including (without limitations) any notices or metadata accompanying or part of the photographic works recording creator details, copyright ownership or publication status of the photographic works. The client shall not alter or remove any notices attached to the photographic works and shall take all reasonable steps to respect and preserve the photographer's copyright and other rights. 

STORAGE & BACKUP: The client is responsible for the storage and backup of the photographic works supplied by the photographer. While the photographer will follow its usual backup procedures  upon delivery of the photographic works, the photographer shall not be liable under any circumstance if unable to produce backups or future reproductions of the photographic works upon the request of the client. Where backups are available these may be made available to the client.

COLOUR VARIATION:
The client releases the photographer from any and all liability relating to colour reproduction of supplies works and any system not under the direct control of the photographer. Where the photographer supplies the client with photographic prints, the client acknowledges that photographic works may fade or discolour over time due to the inherent qualities of materials used, and releases the photographer from any liability for any claim based upon fading or discolouration. Where a colour is unable to be reproduced accurately due to limitations in capture and output technology, the client releases the photographer from any and all liability in regard to colour reproduction.
